Proper pruning isn’t a topic everyone is expected to be well versed in, but with a little attention now, it is a simple investment one can be certain will save substantial money and headaches in future.
Appropriate, periodical pruning is a necessary component of maintaining healthy trees and shrubs. Most of the structural problems we find in mature trees could have been easily prevented by creating proper structure when the tree was young. That being said, the value placed on pruning younger landscape trees simply cannot be overlooked, as it could save hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars down the road and prevent associated problems in the future.
Our ISA Certified Arborists and staff have been expertly trained and educated on pruning technique necessary for safe and healthy plant development and the removal of either dead or decayed branches. We will provide detailed care for your trees and do so properly and safely according to ANSI A300 and Z133 standards. Your trees will be healthier; and your property will be safer.
Here are a few ways we address issues in your tree’s canopy:
Comprehensive pruning to remove dead, diseased, and/or broken branches, typically of 1” diameter or greater
Selective pruning to provide vertical clearance
Detailed pruning to reduce density of live branches, typically removing entire branches
Specific pruning to decrease height and/or spread by removing specified branches.
